The Washies Place A4, The Safest Ambulance in Chester County, Into Service

The Washies new ambulance, a 2017 Ford F-450 XLT 4x4 Demers Type 1 MXP 170, was placed into service on 2/20/17.

This new unit is designated as Ambulance 41-4 in Chester County. Internally it is affectionately referred to as A4. The unit was manufactured by Demers Ambulances in Beloeil, Canada, a suburb of Montreal, and purchased from Glick Fire Equipment Company, Inc. in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. ... 50 Youngsburg Road Wood Shop Fire.
