Dave: I will miss you so much, the Relief meetings will never be the same. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift upliftng rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight, I m the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die. Hugs and Smooches.....

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dave Pilotti he will be missed. Just the other day I was looming through some old pictures. And found one of Dave from my wedding, he was in a tux with a goofy green bow tie (St patty's day) doing the turtle....it just made me laugh.
Congrats To Shaquille "Shaq" Styer. Shaq has been an invaluable asset since joining the Department. In an era when volunteerism is down, Shaq shows a level of commitment that you rarely see in people today, let alone a teenager. He is a role model for today's youth, the citizens of Coatesville should be proud. Again Congrats to You.

Looking for a website or an actual address to send a financial contribution to The West End Fire House. Born & raised in The West End, I am looking to make an annual contribution to the firehouse. Please forward to my address. Thanks, John
It is nice to go back and look what was some of my best time in my career. I don't get a chance to get up that much but try to go by the stations just to make sure nothing hasn't changed. Saw some of the old guys 2 weeks ago at a funeral and it brought back all those memories. If you are ever in Myrtle Beach look me up.

To everyone in the Coatesville Fire Department , Just read the story about the steel returning to the Ville from New York & want to say great job with everything involved. Great way to remember 1st where the steel originated & also that tragic day on 11 Sep 01 . Keep up the good work & stay safe .
It's about time! I started out at 41 with Eddie Rank and Jack Jones in 1972.... obtained my EMT_B at the old Coatesville Hospital and joined the West End in 1974. I became a Life Member at West End in 1994. I am glad and proud to see the CFD create such a nice web site. Hopefully, I'll be accepted into it as a member! Hang in there Coatesville firefighters....
Herd about your porblems with An arsonist, or group of arsonists terrorizing your Great city on the yahoo home page. CFD has their hands full battiling this rash of arson fires. I hope & pray that the person or persons responicable are apprehended asap. Being a former VOl fire fighter, hearing about this news makes my blood boil. Your web site is a shineing example of the professional fire fighters of your department Fell free to visit my old departments web site at Ridge fd.org

I just wanted to again Thank the committee for a wonderful banquet. I was taken by some of the people that were there, thought I was ten again running around the station looking for cheese burgers. All joking aside the wife and I had a wonderful time and it was great to see everyone. I just got to watch the video it was also breath taking especially when I remember alot of them older shots and how young everyone looked. I hope you can make this a yearly tradition it's good for young and old.
VERY NICE SITE. I ESPECIALLY LIKED THE HISTORICAL PHOTOS. HOW FOR THE FIRE SERVICE HAS CHANGED IN A RELATVELY SHORT TIME.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND MAY GOD BLESS AND PROTECT YOUR DEPT. AT ALL TIMES......BOB
Not that I expected and less from you fine men and women, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all that responded to my residents on Tuesday night. The EMS crew was very professional and did a great job with my uncle. I know other where there comforting my kids that where quite out of it from being home alone and finding him unresponsive in all that blood. It was a quick response and my family and I greatly appreciate everything.
My uncle is expected to make a full recovery and should be release from LGH today.

Dear Washies: I was trying to find out (via your web site) what was going on last night down at Abdala Park (8th & Lincoln Hwy. and olive St.) But couldn't find anything. I noticed you had two fire trucks and two ambulances on display. But I guess the hook and ladder was too big to go thru the alley down into the park. Was this event advertised? I didn't read anything about it in the newspaper. (I was really curious about it because your hook and ladder was parked near my house.) Thanks. And keep up the great work you guys do!!!! Connie

Thank you for being some of the most professional Firefighters I have ever seen while dealing with such an unfortunate situation. You guys are in our prayers down here in Conshy and I hope you guys can put this behind you and move on...we know what your going thru...its hard, but we know what your made of, so good luck and godspeed.
I am involved in Public Relations work in the fire service at both the County and State levels. I am a 30+ year member of the volunteer fire service and have seen and heard so many good positive things about the VFS, and on the other hand, have also seen and heard the sh#@, cr&!, ok the poop about a few rotten eggs who try and bring it all down on the entire service and it's reputation because they're either stupid, deranged or hallucinating on whatever. A lot of the effects of their wrongdoings can linger on a Department to the general public, but I don't see that happening to the CFD in their community. Much of that will have to do with the Media Release issued by your Department, I believe on todays date. It was one of the most professional, well written release that could have been issued. Factual, firm but said with eloquence. I wish you all well, keep your chins up and be proud to be an American Firefighter, better yet a Coatesville Volunteer or Paid Firefighter. God Bless, Gordy Kotars Syracuse, New York
