Auto Accident With A Pole Snapped

On January 27th 2010 The Coatesville Fire Department was dispatched to First Ave south of Walnut Street for a reported auto accident.

Rescue 43, Engine 41-2, Ambulance 41-2 all made the response shortly after dispatch and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center of a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries and a pole snapped in half.

Rescue 43 was the first arriving unit to confirm the report with Engine 41-2 arriving shortly after. Crews from both trucks worked together to secure the hazards on the vehicle while also doing some fluid control. Ambulance 41-2's crew evaluated the patient of the vehicle and determined that the patient was not injured.

All units cleared the scene a short time later turning the scene over to the Coatesville Police Department and Road Crew.
