Training Series for 2010 Starts With SCBA Training

On January 27th 2010 Members of the Coatesville Fire Department started the new training year off with SCBA training.
Topics reviewed tonight were as follows:
Buddy Breathing Universal RIT Connection Purpose Of Pass Alarm Different Parts Of The Air Pack
Firefighters then had to break up into several teams and perform different task that were presented to them by Training Coordinator Sweitzer. One group had to assist with evacuating a firefighter in distress from the building. Other teams had to find their way out of the building using a hose line as their means of escape.
We would also like to thank the following EMT students for taking everyone's vitals during the training Ethan Patton, Danielle Celii, Scott Thornton.
