House Fire in West End Section of City

On Saturday, February 13th at 1804 hours, the Coatesville Fire Department along with Engine 44-5 were dispatched to 373 Charles Street for the reported house fire. Engine 41-2 arrived on location and reported smoke showing. At 1816 hours a working fire dispatch was requested, bringing Engine 37-2, Tac 34 and Tower 45 to the city. Tower 45 was reassigned to stand by in the city as the fire was placed under control, at 1826 hours. All units cleared at 2017 hours. Approximately $50,000 damage to the structure and contents. 5 displaced residents were provided shelter by the red cross.
