House Fire 752 East Chestnut

Stations 41 & 43 were dispatched to 752 East Chestnut for a reported house fire. Ambulance 41-2 arrived on location reporting smoke showing from both 752 and 754 East Chestnut. Engine company arrived and stretched 1 3/4 handline to 752 and found the kitchen in the rear of the first floor on fire. The engine company then checked the second floor for any extension. Engine 76 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4 line to 754 East Chestnut and found extension on the second floor bathroom area. The truck companies opened up the walls and ceiling on both dwellings and a second alarm was struck for additional manpower at 12:12. Fire placed under control at 12:30. All units were placed back in service at 15:00.
